Renewable Energy

Sinaloa has great potential for the generation of hydroelectric power. It has 29 places detected, with an estimated production of 614 MW. These water resources present a great opportunity for the development of hydroelectric plants with more than 60 MW, mini hydroelectric plants of less than 30 MW and projects for 2 MW within their irrigation network.

-Sinaloa is among 5 states with the highest average daily solar radiation (Kwh./m2) that ranges from 5.3 to 5.6 throughout its territory throughout the year.

-Within its objectives of sustainable cities, our main municipalities are focused on working closely with companies that see it as an attractive business model, the generation of electricity based on waste (RSM).
